What data Clearsulting collects

The collection of personal information is initiated by Clearsulting and it may include identifiers, professional or employment-related information, education information, commercial information, visual information, internet activity information, and inference drawn from any of these categories. We may also collect information like an IP address, web browser information, and actions while on the Clearsulting website.

When used, our forms will typically ask for:

Blogs and other social media

Clearsulting may host various blogs, forums, and other social media applications or services that allow you to share content with other users (collectively Social Media Applications). Any personal information or other information that you contribute to any Social Media Application can be read, collected, and used by other users of that Social Media Application over whom we have little or no control. Therefore, we are not responsible for any other user’s use, misuse, or misappropriation of any personal information or other information that you contribute to any Social Media Application.

Data protection

Clearsulting has applied organizational, technical, and physical measures designed to safeguard against the loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction of personal information. Only authorized Clearsulting personnel and the third parties described in this privacy statement are provided access to personal information and these employees and third parties have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information. Please note that in the unlikely event that we might need to contact you about a matter involving your personal information, we may email you about the matter.

Clearsulting only uses third party providers that are bound to maintain appropriate levels of data protection, security, and confidentiality.

Data retention

We will store data for as long as reasonably necessary, and only for as long as required to fulfill the purposes of processing the data. We may retain data if such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. If we process data, it may be erased automatically, or saved in a format which does not allow any direct conclusions to be drawn as to your identity as soon as the last specific purpose has been fulfilled

Opting out

You can opt-out of being contacted by us for marketing or promotional purposes by following the instructions in marketing emails sent by Clearsulting. Additional restrictions on Clearsulting’s ability to send you marketing information may apply depending on jurisdiction. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect your receipt of business communications that are important to your interaction with Clearsulting, such as communications about your projects or engagements with us, billing communications, security updates, event registration updates, or account management communications.

Do not track requests

“Do Not Track” is a preference you can set in your web browser to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting information about you. The website does not currently respond to a “Do Not Track” or similar signal. We do not engage in the collection of personal information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services to provide targeted advertising and we do not allow third parties to collect such personal information when you use the website.

Children’s online privacy protection

We understand the importance of protecting children’s online privacy. Our content is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children under the age of 16. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 16. If we obtain knowledge that we have received such information, we will take steps to delete it.
