Project overview and objectives

A Fortune 100 diversified global energy and agribusiness company engaged Clearsulting to:

• Create visibility over the reconciliation process and substantiation of balances
• Establish and standardize account reconciliation controls
• Create process efficiencies and drive automation around reconciliations

What we did

We implemented standard reconciliation processes spanning 300 users across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This included establishing scalable and leading practice reconciliation processes and policies.

Through our successful implementation of the BlackLine Account Reconciliation module, we helped this organization:

• Create visibility over the reconciliation process with a focus on timeliness, completeness, and quality
• Significantly decrease the total time to perform close and reconciliations (increased analysis)
• Develop and deliver training to 300 users across all BlackLine roles in use
• Drive automation of 80 percent of total account reconciliations
